I'd guess the lamp fixtures and bulbs still work, but the wiring is the problem.

Years ago it failed the electricity audit. Not clear on what was the exact issue. Since then, it seems the 'new' installation has been partially taken down, unsure if it was just half-assed wiring or something else.

Decided that it isn't a priority currently (this-next year), for the future.
