New cameras deployment #105

Ask Rasmus for locations of Cameras. Also in mgmt channels.

Hardware:

  • Backend (Coral + CPU + GPU + storage + netw primitive support)
  • Choosing: Based on Frigate reccomendations. Dahua had 2 variants, without PoE as well, why the 2.5x cost? Went with the cheaper ones and worked out fairly good.
  • Ordered 10x Amcrest 5MP Turret POE Camera, UltraHD Outdoor IP Camera POE with Mic/Audio, 5-Megapixel Security Surveillance Cameras, 98ft NightVision, 132° FOV, MicroSD (256GB), (IP5M-T1179EW-AI-V3).
  • Follow-up ordering the rest (~ 4-6).

Installation:

  • Planning spots (most are good, need discussion on some spots to finalize). Went around with a camera and a laptop, Slack asked for feedback.
  • Cameras mounted to drilled ceiling/wall spots (3 done, might have to move).
  • Cameras mounted to cable rails.
  • Cable runs between switches and cameras.
  • Config in Winbox and Frigate (docs) to git.
