It's been assessed before, that the batteries in the fire-resistant cabinets are believed to be ok, but the situation needs to be periodically monitored with methodology for which packs to dispose of.

Nitecore i4 has charge indicator and quite good compatibility with different rechargable battery sizes. If rechargeable battery stays on 1 blinking led for a few hours = bin
