Would be nice to have a day-two worth of history.
Unsure whether this should be integrated with the wider cameras system.
tacking onto this: Prusa still needs a camera
Raspi 3 has stability issues with USB cams, better to go for a Pi Camera Module or something of that sort. a smaller thing would be easier to mount on the printer itself as well
If you want to order something, pick it out. 'It would be nice to have' / 'needs' == 'In 5 years, maybe will consider'
just a Pi Camera Module 2 then

ordered mounting hardware (M3 roll-in T-nuts, M3x8 and M3x30 screws) to mount the raspi to the frame + a longer camera cable
prusa has a camera now, could probably just put the raw streams into frigate if integrating it into there is preferable
(although the prusa camera is stuck on MJPEG for now: wanted to change to WebRTC but that didn't work for some reason? I'll have to investigate)
I think there isn't really a use for keeping it in Frigate (may spam / create events / noise / write pressure). Keeping it in printer UI only makes sense IMO, unless there is much to gain from a motion-capture history. cc @arti
If we want to have some kind of recording history then frigate would be the easiest to use/abuse for it. I'm not too familiar with how frigate works internaly. Maybe 3D printer cameras could be seperated out in there somehow?
