I'm running https://inventree.org/ for my things, it works well enough for a Django app, also supports qr code tags like our current homegrown inventory.

Issues relating to inventoring the space:

Issues relating to inventoring the space: - Serve room https://git.k-space.ee/k-space/todo/issues/99 - Coworking machines https://git.k-space.ee/k-space/todo/issues/108 - Stock https://git.k-space.ee/k-space/todo/issues/62 - Tools https://git.k-space.ee/k-space/todo/issues/144

Books could also use a category and maybe some relevant metadata for library search

I think the consensus lately has been, that migration effort + lack of self-coding flexibility means, https://git.k-space.ee/k-space/inventory-app will stay in use for now.

IIRC the category listing is just based on what's in the db, modifying the http request with a new category and restarting the deployment updates it :D

Main change for now I see would be to track the book's (/install cd) barcode instead of a k6 sticker.
